Paris here I come.

Hello from the Best Western Hotel at JFK Airport.  I am spending the night here prior to my flight tomorrow on Virgin Atlantic to London and then right on via British Airways to Paris.  I will be staying with my friend Eric at 13 rue Marie & Louise for my first week in Paris and then with Floriane at 32 rue Bichat, right around the corner for the next few weeks.  My daughter Anne will come and join me in Paris on May 7, coincidentally the day of the final voting in the French Presidential election.  We plan to be in Paris until May 15 when we will fly to Nice, France for our stay in Menton with a side trip to the Cinque Terre in Italy.  On May 26 I will fly from Nice to Manchester, England for a visit to Haworth, the location of the Bronte’ parsonage, where Charlotte, Emily and Anne Bronte’ wrote such literary classics as Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights among others.  My British touring will be under the direction of Debi Hill and her excellent company ClassicBritishDramaTours.com.  It certainly looks to be an exciting and interesting 6 weeks and I hope that all of you dear followers will stay tuned to enjoy the trip with me.  I will be using my new mirrorless Fijifilm XT2 camera, shooting in “RAW” and using Adobe Lightroom to process the images before posting them.  All of the images I post are copyright to me and cannot be reproduced without my written consent.  My images and others that I don’t post are available for purchase as fine art prints for your living room or office wall and can be mounted on paper, canvas, steel. glass etc. according to your wishes but if you just want to follow along and live vicariously through me, please do!  This trip I plan to give more details of the restaurants, Airbnbs, hotels, places of interest, etc. than I have in the past, in an effort to provide additional information in case any of you want to follow in my footsteps.
