Now I have a big problem for Saturday night!  As I had mentioned earlier, I was all set for The Gin Game with James Earl Jones and Cicely Tyson on Saturday evening BUT Pierre Boulez passed away on Jan. 5 and Le Poisson Rouge an eclectic music venue in New York is holding a remembrance celebration also this Saturday evening!!  Although Pierre Boulez is perhaps not too well known in the USA, he is French, he was the conductor of the New York Philharmonic after Leonard Bernstein and is a very well known composer of much modern classical music.  He was a strong proponent of the so-called 12 tone system, make famous by Arnold Schoenberg and incorporated that system into particularly his earlier compositions.  He is considered one of the giants of modern classical music so you can see that I have a hard decision because this is the last week of performances of the Gin Game with two very famous and well known actors in James Earl Jones and Cicely Tyson.  So dear readers, perhaps you will chime in and give me some advice on this difficult decision.  I so wish that I could see both performances but that is impossible.  What to do????
